Looking for a fun and flexible way to stay active over spring break? Drop in to WT for a customizable camp experience!
Young people can attend for a single day or full week of theatre and partake in imaginative activities related to performance, design, devising, and more.
Camp runs March 30 - April 3 from 9am-3pm at Writers Theatre in Glencoe. Open to campers in 2nd - 5th grade of all experience levels and ability, ages 7-11. Registration is $90/day or $400 for the week.

Camp Schedule
Monday (3/30) — From Page to Stage
Dive into theatre by creating your own original stories and bringing them to life.
Tuesday (3/31) — Sketch and Sketch! Characters, Comedy and Costumes
Characters will come to life through games and theatre practices including sketch comedy, improvisation, and costume design.
Wednesday (4/1) — En Garde! Stage Combat
Learn how to play fight! Campers will explore the fundamentals of stage combat (unarmed and sword) through the lens of storytelling and safety.
Thursday (4/2) — Monologue Magic
Campers will learn what a monologue is, how to perform them for an audition, and how to write their very own monologues.
Friday (4/3) — Clowning Around
Campers will explore the beginnings of Red Nose clowning including exercises and games with a focus on being seen in all our goofy glory!
